As of 24 September 2020 Market Restaurant will be adhering to the new measures in line with public safety and government guidelines and new laws.
In order to comply with the new laws we have restricted bookings at busy time to 1.5 hours. You will notice the staff will be wearing face coverings. Customers will also be required by law to wear face coverings when on the premises at all times except when seated at their table or at the counter-top. Refusal to adhere to the regulations will mean refusal of service unless we are advised prior to arrival why face coverings cannot be worn. We are required by law to take details of all diners. If you book online then this information is captured automatically. For walk-in customers there is the option of giving the staff your name and phone number on entry which we record in a book or you have the option of using the government QR code tracing app.
To abide by the new 10pm curfew we ask that all patrons are no longer on the premises by 10pm .
We expect all the rules will be adhered to as both the restaurant and patrons maybe be prosecuted if the rules are not observed.
